Yandy

Yandy has come a long way in a short amount of time. Originally started out of the home of brothers Chad Horstman and Evan Horstman in 2007 in Scottsdale, Arizona, the company began by selling lingerie. It didn’t take long for the company to expand and to fill an online niche. Currently they have branched out into several categories including everyday intimates, swimwear, hosiery, dancewear, and even Halloween costumes.

Although it might not seem like the typical item for a lingerie store to sell, Yandy takes great pride in their Halloween costumes, and began selling branded costumes in 2010. They find inspiration in a variety of places, including cultural events and trends, celebrities and cultural icons. The Halloween costumes drew many customers to their site, and helped to put Yandy on the map.

About ten years into the business, in 2017, the CTO Aras Koktas and CFO Jeffrey Watton were promoted to Co-CEO roles in the company. It was in this same year that Yandy became the official sponsor of the Miss USA pageant, taking great pride in supplying each contestant with a brand new swimsuit. The swimsuit section of their company has blossomed since then.

The company has also been very active in fashion shows with their swimwear collections, participating in New York Fashion Week, Scottsdale Fashion Week, and Miami Swim Week. They are also responsible for producing the very first Halloween costume fashion show at New York Fashion Week in September 2016, which featured 39 costumes.

Yandy offers products off the beaten path of fashion, and with their business model of selling lingerie, swimsuits, and Halloween costumes, they have really made a name for themselves.

Yandy does all of their business online, at a vibrant website called Yandy.com. With the plethora of products that they offer, from Dancewear, Panties, Hosiery, Accessories, Swimwear, Costumes, and Shoes, there is truly something for everyone. There is also a special Holiday and Clearance section. With all of these choices the Yandy website makes it easy to narrow down your choices with categories like color, sizes, price range, and vendor. This will save the customer time while looking through the website.

Yandy makes life easy for its customers as they try to order. If you just have to have one of the new lingerie items, but don’t quite have the cash on hand, Yandy offers Klarna, which gives the customer interest free payments and the time needed to make them. There are also two cost-effective ways to get your items shipped to you. Economy 8 Business Days costs $6.95, or is free if you spend $80 on merchandise.  Expedited 4 Business Days starts at $19.95. Yandy offers a clear return policy as well, in case what you ordered did not quite fit or wasn’t the style you thought it was.

With its attention to social media and its interest in powering women, Yandy has a plethora of products in many intimate categories.

Yandy’s mission is “to empower women to accept their sensuality in its physical, mental, emotional, and healthful facets.” This company takes pride in normalizing the conversation about the sensual experiences of every body and to make women feel great in a wide variety of intimate apparel.
